So on Sunday we gave Caleb the choice of napping or resting while reading books. Surprise, surprise--he chose to rest only and read books (oh and he's doing it in my bed, since Noah was going to sleep in the boys' bedroom). So Mark walks into our bedroom and sees Caleb reading and falling asleep while doing sitting up. And as Caleb hears Mark, he sits up straighter and says, "I gotta stay awake cause I'm reading books."
So then we explained that choosing to read books didn't mean he *couldn't* sleep, just that he didn't have to. He was asleep soon afterwards.
aw, too sweet. That's just precious.
