So now that I'm on the lookout for Tot Talks, I am finding it pretty easy to notice them. I've got two for this week.
First, I have a classic--this is an old one, Caleb did this back when he was 2 or 3 years old, and we were still changing his pullups once in a while when he went number 2. One of us was wiping his bum and we raised his legs way over his head, and he indignantly said, "Hey, don't fold me. I don't like that."
The second one needs two pieces of background information, in order to make sense. (1) Caleb really likes the movie Enchanted, and the first song in that movie is "True Love's Kiss". Furthermore, the lead character in the movie goes on and on about true love's kiss. (2) Mark brings home one hershey's kiss for each of us (Caleb, Noah, and me) every day.
So Mark had brought home the kisses that day, and I told Caleb he could have one and asked him to give one to Noah (you can probably see where this is going). Caleb walks over to Noah and says, "Noah, here's your true love's kiss. Mommy, do you want your true love's kiss?" How freakin' adorable is that?
It is adorable and I love the comment about not to fold him. Funny.

ReplyDeleteOH my goodness. That's adorable!!! LOL My kids love that movie, too. My daughter now goes on and on and on about finding "true love." So funny.
