Where did the time go?

Wow--it's been over two months since I last blogged! I just lost track of time, as I was so busy doing other things. I've got the pictures to prove it!

I've been spending lots of playtime with mommy and daddy lately. Daddy has been especially fun, since he'll still let me ride on his back and wrestle with him (Mommy has been getting picky about getting down on the floor, since it's getting harder and harder for her to get back up!)
We also got Baby Noah's room painted last month--it still needs some decorations and furniture, but at least it's blue and not tan now! I didn't get to help much since the fumes were so bad (it was cold out so they couldn't open the windows)...but I liked to just be in the room walking all over the drop cloth--it made neat sounds!

I'm so ready to be a big brother! I even think I have a Baby Noah in my tummy! See, here I am showing you my baby:
And sometimes I just like to pretend I am still the baby.
That car seat was comfy, but I think mommy and daddy are going to make me use my bigger one still. I've also had random hat urges--the kind where I like to wear different hats. The red hat looks cute on me, but I didn't like it as much as my green hat.

Now that's a hat! Mommy and Daddy got it for me for St. Patrick's Day, and it's sparkly. You gotta appreciate my sunny-glasses too! (Mom note: Sunny glasses is what Caleb calls his sunglasses, and if you don't refer to them that way, he corrects you. Similarly, if you refer to Bob the Builder as just "Bob" Caleb will correct you on that as well. "No, mommy, it's not just Bob. It's Bob the Builder.")

My latest favorite stuffed animal (I have lots of them: Kitty, Elephant, Carebear) is a snake. His name is Grandma, and I love to sleep with him! (Mom note: Caleb seems to have a thing about snakes lately. He calls gummy worms snakes, and loves to pretend to be a snake. I just hope this doesn't one day lead to asking us if he can have a pet snake. The answer will most definitely be no.)

Last but not least--I thought you might all like to see how BIG mommy is getting. Baby Noah is almost ready to come out (8 weeks left until the guess date) and mommy is trying very hard not to complain (but I can tell she's getting very tired--she only dances with me to one train song at bedtime, and she loves it when I decide to take the massage tool and rub it on her back).

See you next time! Check in next week, hopefully to see a video of me playing daddy's trumpet! (Mom note: He really did do this, we just need to get it on video. He didn't play a song or anything, but he got actual sound, not just noise, to come out of the trumpet. Mark's and my own expectations were far exceeded--we didn't think he'd be able to do this at such a young age!)
